Head to Harriman this Sunday for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/582947728532411\/?refid=12&amp;ref=bookmarks\/\">\u201cMusic and Melons\u201d<\/a> \u2013 a free concert by the Babahatchie Community Band.<\/p>\n<p>Babahatchie is a unique Native American name for the Emory River running through Harriman, meaning \u201cbabbling waters.\u201d For 20 years or so, the band of that same name has performed for residents and visitors with popular classics, marches, brass band music, and show tunes.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday\u2019s concert will begin at 3:00pm at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps?q=Emory+Dr,+Harriman,+Roane,+Tennessee+37748&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=FUg_JAId8uj1-g&amp;split=0&amp;sll=37.0625,-95.677068&amp;sspn=23.875,57.630033&amp;hq&amp;hnear=Emory+Dr,+Harriman,+Roane,+Tennessee+37748&amp;z=14\">David Webb Riverfront Park<\/a> in Harriman. Musical selections will include some well-known movie soundtracks so there\u2019s sure to be something for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/harrimanlionsclub\/\">Harriman Lions Club<\/a> will be there slicing up sweet watermelon for all concert goers to enjoy. Don\u2019t miss out on one of the most fun events of the summer! This is your last chance to hear the Babahatchie Community Band at the gazebo this year.<\/p>\n<p>Interested in joining the band? They\u2019re always happy to accept new members!
