ETHRA Public Transit can help individuals access community and health services Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The service area includes 16 East Tennessee counties that includes Roane County, as well as Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Scott, Sevier and Union. Fares begin at $3 for adults and $1.50 for children.

Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis by calling 1.800.232.1565 at least three business days in advance of your trip. Requests made after the 72 hours will be considered based on available space. Returns are also available by requesting a pick-up card from the driver to contact when ready. Buses do not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, New Year’s Day, MLK Holiday, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Eve & Day or other training dates.
